Douglas Foreman
Doug has a BSBA in Insurance and Finance from the University of Florida and is a licensed life and health agent. He has earned the following designations: Certified Life Underwriter(CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). He has qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table since 1990.
Born in Orlando, Doug has been married since 1992, he has two sons and a daughter. Doug is a past president of the Central Florida Society of Financial Service Professionals and currently serves on the Board for the Manufacturers Association of Central Florida and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando.
Jeff Williams
Jeff specializes in providing benefit choices to the Tallahassee and Panhandle business community. He is a graduate of Florida State University.
He has served in various positions, including President of the Capital Area Association of Health Underwriters, Florida Association of Health Underwriters, Big Bend Society of Human Resource Managers, and is a volunteer golf coach for the Leon County Special Olympics.
He is married to his wife Chelsea and has two children, Lily Jane and Porter.
Terry Singleton
Terry has over 25 years of experience with employee benefit programs, and is the founder and President of United Benefit Advisors of Florida, LLC.
Along with advanced degrees in business, underwriting, and risk management, Terry has earned the following designations: Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC), Registered Health Underwriter (RHU), Certified Life Underwriter (CLU), and Certified Fund Specialist (CFS). He also holds active health, life, annuities, and general lines licenses in many states.
Terry serves as a Legislative Chairman and PAC Chairman for the Florida Association of Health Underwriting and as PAC Chairman for the Southeast Region of the National Association Of Health Underwriters.
Terry is a proud member of the Certified Financial Planners Board of Standards, the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the National Association of Health Underwriters (a Past President). He is active in service to his community, church and profession. Terry has lived all his life in the Greater Orlando area and enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two children.
Scott Clemons
Scott Clemons is a Charter Principal of FLUBA. Throughout his career Scott Clemons has remained active in many civic endeavors. He has served as the chairman of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bay Medical Center, Chairman of Early Education and Care, Chairman of Goodwill Industries, and served as a high school mentor.
Scott Clemons was elected to the Florida House of Representative and served from 1990 to 1998. He also served as Mayor of Panama City from 2007 until 2011.
Scott Clemons is a graduate of the University of the South at Sewanee and Mercer law school.
He is married to the former Pat Boss and has two daughters Mary Katherine and Olivia.
George Loebig
Graduate at University of Central Florida, and has earned the designation as a Certified Self-Funding Specialist (CSFS).
He is an experienced employee benefits professional with over 15 years in the insurance industry. With vast involvement in two growing agencies providing marketing oversight, strategic budget planning, cost analysis, agency management solutions and overall company oversight.
Mick Constantinou
Mick Constantinou is the Group Benefits Practice Leader for Sandstone Insurance Partners since 2018, a
full-service agency with offices in Florida and Georgia. Mick is a licensed 215 and 220 broker and a
graduate of the University of Florida.
Mick entered the insurance industry in 2010 on the carrier side and moved to the broker side in 2011
when he joined CCF&N in Clearwater, Florida. CCF&N joined United Benefit Advisors in 2012 but
was acquired by HUB International in 2013. Mick was a top producer for Florida in 2017 and in the
top 5% of HUB International nationally that same year.
Before entering the insurance industry in 2010, Mick’s executive experience included business
operations, service operations, supply chain management, logistics, customer loyalty, data analytics,
change management, employee training, and corporate culture development with companies like
Deloitte and Konica Minolta.
Mick has been married to his wife Shannon for 31 years. They have 22-year-old twins, daughter
Lindsay and son Layne. Mick also serves as a Board Member for The Homeless Leadership
Alliance.
John Jassmann
Entered the insurance industry in 1986, in Clearwater, Florida, for Rodgers & Cummings
Insurance. Worked full time rating commercial insurance policies (by hand) while completing
college.
1987 – Tampa, FL: Aetna Casualty and Surety as a Commercial Casualty Underwriter.
1989 – Clearwater, FL: Rejoined Rodgers & Cummings as a straight commission producer.
2000 – Atlanta, GA: Sales Leader, Financial Services Practice, OSI. This company operated call
centers providing outsourced customer service, billing and collections support. $600 million in
revenue with 9,000 employees. Our practice grew from $20 million in revenue and 0 margins
to $50 million in revenue and 20% margins in 2.5 years.
2004 – Atlanta, GA: Hired as National Sales Leader for Beecher Carlson Insurance. Boutique
insurance brokerage firm specializing in forming Captive Insurance companies and also
providing complex Casualty solutions to large clients such as Marriott, Subaru and others. While
employed there, the firm grew from $11 million in revenue to $100 million in revenue over 8
years. The growth was split 50/50 acquired vs organic.
2012 – Atlanta, GA. Hired as Resident Managing Director of the Atlanta office for Aon Risk
Consulting. Aon, with over 60,000 employees globally at the time, was the largest brokerage
firm in the world and Atlanta was the 7 th largest office in the US. Over 5.5 years there, the
office grew from $45 million in revenue and 7% margins to $75 million in revenue and 22%
margins.
2017 – Clearwater, FL. Founded SandStone Insurance Partners which offers Group Benefits,
Commercial P&C, higher-end Personal Lines as well as individual and family health insurance.
Over 7 years, we have acquired 13 firms in both the greater Atlanta area and Greater Tampa
Bay area. In 2021 we split off our Individual Health business that provides Medicare related
solutions as well as those needing assistance with navigating the Affordable Care Act (Under 65)
Health Insurance marketplace. We presently employ roughly 30 colleagues and our annualized
revenue for both companies combined totals approximately $7 million.
Charlie Robinson
Charlie is a proud native of Clearwater, Florida, with a strong foundation in finance. He earned his BSBA
in Finance from the University of Florida in 1990. Charlie’s insurance career began with USI Insurance
Services and extended over 33 years, where he served as a Senior Vice President with a primary focus on
managing Property & Casualty large risk management accounts.
In 2023, Charlie embarked on a new journey by joining SandStone Insurance Partners as the President.
There, he helps lead a dedicated and professional team of insurance brokers, catering to the needs of
small to mid-sized businesses and high-net-worth individuals across Florida, Georgia, and South
Carolina.
Charlie is an active contributor to the Tampa Bay community. His service includes roles such as Board of
Director of Waterfall Bank, President of YMCA of the Suncoast (current board member), President of
Goodwill Industries Suncoast, President of Belleair Country Club, and a former member of the Planning
and Zoning Board of the city of Belleair, and a former Finance Chair of Ruth Eckerd Hall.
Michelle Matt
Michelle Matt is a Graduate of Lake Sumter State College. She is currently an Emerald Coast Business Woman, a Board Member of Early Education & Care, and the former Treasurer of Panhandle Chapter of the Florida Trails Association.
Mike Devaux
Mike’s is a retired U.S. Navy Commander with 28 years of service. He graduated with distinction from the United States Naval Academy in 1990. On active duty from 1990 to 2000 Mike logged over 1,500 flight hours flying the F/A-18C Hornet Pilot and F-15C Eagle and logging over 300 aircraft carrier landings. His service includes 4 overseas deployments with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force, as well as a reserve recall supporting the Global War on Terror in 2009-2010.
Mike He has earned the designation of Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) and Registered Employee Benefit Consultant (REBC).
Mike enjoys spending time with his wife Brenda and his two children Michael and Madison. Mike enjoys flying and watching movies with his family.
John Stoner
John Stoner is a Charter Principal of FLUBA. He graduated from Florida State University in 1965 with a major in insurance. He has earned the following designations: Certified Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Master of Science – Financial Services (MSFS), and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP).
He is the former president of The Suncoast Estate Planning Council, The Pinellas County Estate Planning Council, The Suncoast Chapter of CLU, The St. Petersburg Association of Life Underwriters, The Diversified Benefits Resource Association, The St. Petersburg YMCA, The United Way Council of Presidents, and The St. Petersburg Quarterback Club.
John was on The Board of Directors of the Seminole Boosters from 1997-2001. He was the past chairman of Leadership. St. Petersburg, and the past Vice President of The St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce.
He is a partner in The United Benefit Advisors (UBA). A Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table (since 1969). He was a part of The Court of the Table in 2009 and 2010 and Top of the Table in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. He is a member of The National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, The National Association of Health Underwriters, The Society of Financial Service Professional, and The St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce.
Rich Pierro
Rich has worked in the employee benefit consulting and life and estate planning business for over 25 years and is proficient in all areas of group benefit programs. He is currently the CEO of K&P Consulting Group. Rich is a third generation native of Manatee County.
Rich specializes in strategic planning, benefit financing and health legislation. Rich has earned the Chartered Health Consultant (ChHC) designation and is one of less than 250 individuals in America today that holds this designation.
He is a licensed broker for Health, Life, and Variable Annuities and has the following designations: Chartered Health Consultant (ChHC), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Registered Health Underwriter (RHU).
Rich is a part of The Florida Housing & Finance Authority, a chairman of The Manatee Housing & Finance Authority, and a Big Brother in Big Brothers Big Sisters of SW Florida. He was the past Chairman of The Manatee Chamber of Commerce, the past President of St. Joseph Catholic School Board, and the past President of Big Brothers Big Sisters of SW Florida.
